My Opinion

By Aartje Smith age 12

I started a new book yesterday.
I am almost done with it, and it is the same size as the one I just barely finished.
I am still reading a cat book, but this one is the fourth one in the first series.
Yes I know, I am very very fast,  but that is not my fault. Well... Maybe it is, BUT! I know a very important secret about reading a book and to not to need glasses.
Yep!, I don't wear glasses, its amazing I know, but the secret to not get glasses is that every time that you are done with a chapter or so, you practice looking at things far away and things that are close to you, over an over again, This way, you don't get out of practice of seeing things nicely that are far away and you don't have to squint to see words on the pages of the book you happen to be reading.
I think that this can work if you already have glasses but I am not sure.
My mom taught me and my siblings that.
And that shows you what you can learn from your mother at anytime and anywhere.
Just like in a book.
To me, Fairy tales are irritating.
Unless they have a really cool knight in shining armor, or a really cool dragon.
Do you find that odd for a girl who is almost a teenager to prefer dragons and swords and battles over dresses and princesses and love interests?.
I know I do, and I am the girl!.
