Being in a library, surrounded with books gives me an odd feeling.
It makes me feel like I have all the secrets and important papers in the whole world and that is almost true.
The biggest library I have been in is three stories tall and it has an elevator and a ton of books.
According to my Mom I have to go to the library at least five times a month because I read so fast and I believe her because the book I was reading yesterday, well, I was less then halfway done with it and it was at least one inch thick and now I am done with it and I am needing to go to the library, desperately.
That is one thing that I really like about library's.
They are so quiet and peaceful and when I enter the library, the silence washes over me like a soft blanket and I feel like curling up in a nice warm corner with my favorite books and just reading all day long.
In our town library, in Wendell, the librarians know me and when they see me come in they say "Hi there!" and I guess they know its me every time because when I go to library's I always wear a hat.
Not a ball cap or anything like that, just a really nice hat, like a fedora or a really puffy Russian hat or a weird hat, and when I come in they say "Oh, what a really nice hat" or " Wow, where do you get all your hats".
They are really nice people and I like them.
In Wendell, we have a really small library and the librarians are really nice.
But in Twin Falls, the HUGE! library, the librarians make me feel small and they seem to look down at me from their high desk and glare at me with their creepy glasses as if I did something wrong and I feel so nervous in their presence that I almost feel like disappearing into thin air.
Those are the different feelings I get in BIG library's and Small library's.
They are pretty much the opposite of each other.
And that is how some of us are.
If we take the time and observe people closer, we will see great knowledge.
