All different kinds.

by Aartje Smith Age 12

There are many different kinds of books.
Mystery, western, fantasy, and my favorite kind of books to read are fantasy and adventure.
The book that I am reading now is called Midnight, and it is the first one of the second series in the warrior cat saga.
Even though I have read it dozens of times it still seems new and exciting every time I start it over again.
My sister thinks that I am a person who needs to branch out and maybe she is right.
She thinks that I am stuck in my own little bubble reading books and playing my piano and not doing the things that "normal" people do, but, Hey! who's normal in this world.
Everyone is different in their own way and if you think about it, we are kind of like books, some of the people in this world are new and exciting when they meet new people, and some are brave and adventurous and some are confined and private.
We need to think about those people and we need to not call them "not normal" because they probably think that about everyone else in the world.
Treat them like our brother or sister because they, in some ways are just like us.

My Library

by Aartje Smith Age 12

I have always wanted my own library.
When I was eleven I worked in our public library for a short time and I loved it.
So the next day I brought some books up to my room and I made it a library.
I think that this blog can give me a chance to bring to the world My Library.
This is the beginning.
And I am loving it.
